This collection of birth stories has been put together with permission from the mothers and fathers who wanted to share their moments of empowerment, triumph, joy and love in welcoming their babies earthside.

Some of these stories include births that happened too fast – where the mother did not arrive at the hospital in time for the baby to be born. This is not uncommon with HypnoBirthing mothers. They are usually so relaxed and confident, that their births can sometimes happen very fast. In these instances the mother and father know that the best thing to do is stay calm, and call for medical help once the situation has stabilized.

It is with deep gratitude and humility that I share these personal accounts. My hope is that others will be inspired by these parents’ sheer determination and love to provide their babies with the best start in life and provide themselves with a smooth transition into parenthood (no matter which number baby they are having).
