Renata’s short yet powerful HypnoBirth of her second baby

“I waited at home as much as I could (not like the first time when I rushed to the hospital with my first surges). I texted Nadine a lot and she was always on the line. When I arrived to the hospital, she helped me to stand up for my decisions and we only let them do the vaginal exam once! … Even though it was my second birth, natural, non complicated, I still needed that reassuring professional help and Nadine was super helpful. I cannot thank her enough for being there for me, my baby and my family.”

Nurul Akmal’s speedy all-fours birth of her third baby

“We had a quick dinner at Mamak restaurant before getting admitted to the hospital and shortly after, Nadine arrived at the labor suite. Within an hour after being admitted, both me and my husband welcomed our baby boy naturally, with support from Nadine, my gynae and a midwife. I breathed him out into the world while I was on my hands and knees.”

Mimi’s beautiful HypnoBirth of baby Mika

“Arrived PHKL around 12am and found out I was already 9 cm dilated! Surges were at its peak this time round making it uncomfortable lying still on the bed. Headed for a quick toilet sitting position which the midwife was quite reluctant of.. Found a great deal of comfort from gravity as I could feel baby gradually descending!”

Syazana & Harun’s gentle welcoming of their first baby

“I was then at the other end of the bed, leaning onto Harun’s shoulder, hugging him, with one foot on the bed and the other on the foot-end board. I was progressing better in this position and only then I understood what Nadine said earlier about the great pressure. Every surge came with a great pressure down there and you’ll be somewhat tempted to just push instead of breathing down your baby. At this juncture I kept on asking how the baby was doing and tried feeling what came out from my body. I couldn’t feel the baby’s hair and it was apparently because the sac was still intact. ”

Ludivine’s empowering first HypnoBirth

“At some point I realize that I have to let go, that I have to go with the waves rather than restrain myself so that they are less intense. I let myself go, I breathe deeply every time waves hug me. I try to work in the same direction as my body and it feels good! Things are moving, I can feel it … Several times, I go to the bathroom. I have the impression that there is a very small amount of liquid leaking. Your daddy is always near me, half-asleep, which does not prevent him from massaging my back every time I ask him. I feel him strong by my side and not too worried, it helps me.”

Jocelyn’s simple HypnoBirth of her first baby

“I kept telling myself not to give up, every surge means baby is coming near to me. The urge of going toilet became more frequent, and sitting on the toilet bowl is one of the soothing positions. Husband was there to support me and get me to drink to ensure I’m hydrated all-time…Husband continued to tell me visualize the flower blossom and focus on breathing so I don’t push too hard.”

Maxveen’s beautifully fast birth of her second baby

“Although my body was clenched and tight, I was still doing the birth breathing as baby descended with each surge. I kept my jaw muscles relaxed and I kept my breath going. Four to five surges later and the baby just slid out in one go. Unlike previously, No fetal distress and no tear. Breathing is important. Thank you HypnoBirthing!”

– Maxveen, empowered mother of two

Izyan’s beautiful birth of her first baby

“I could only concentrate on my husband by my side, and I hung on to him for dear life. I only heard his voice, felt his presence and warmth. I remember him telling me that I was strong, that I can do this. I remembered his kisses on my face and whispers telling me he loves me.I remembered him holding my hand. Although I might have grasped too hard once or twice because I heard him say “ouch”, but his hands were always there. I feel like I can cry again, thinking about how amazing he was, during my labour. I couldn’t have done it without him.”

– Izyan Syazwani, proud mother of one to baby Ihsaan

Fathiyah’s unassisted hospital birth of her 3rd baby

“I told him I felt like pushing and I just breathed the baby out. I felt the head. My husband was surprised because he did not think that the baby is going to come out so quickly. The shoulder is still inside my vagina. Then I told my husband to call the nurse. The nurse came in and ask why? You want to give birth already? Then she was shocked to see the head came out and I gave another push and the baby just splashed her way out into my husband’s hand together with the water.”

– Fathiyah, proud mother of 3
